On your first run, please download geographic data from geonames by using the menu “File/Import from geonames.org”

requirements:

  • Windows 2000 or above
  • DirectX9
  • A graphics card supporting Shader Model 2.0
  • An SSE2 compatible CPU: Intel Pentium4 or above, AMD Athlon64 or above (note: AMD Athlon XP does not have SSE2 support).

Macintosh version

A Macintosh version is under development. It shares a very large portion of the code with the Windows version and was expected to be available for preview during summer 2007. Some features took precedence over the Mac version, but don’t despair, it’ll come. I’m expecting Apple to be the first to come up with a mainstream multi-touch computer, this will be an ideal platform for gpuViewer… Unfortunately, resources are scarce and it is easier to focus on the one platform at the moment.

iPhone & iPod touch version

This is the only real mainstream multitouch platform today… Be patient, gpuViewer is coming to it…
It can’t be rushed, though…
